Your Lip Filler appointment will begin with a consultation to discuss the result you would like to achieve. Janine will assess your natural lip shape, facial proportions, previous filler history and any concerns you may have before recommending the most suitable treatment approach.

The treatment involves carefully placing dermal filler into selected areas of the lips to enhance shape, volume and definition. The amount of filler used will depend on your natural lips, your goals and whether you are having filler for the first time or maintaining previous results.

Some swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen after lip filler, especially in the first few days. This is normal for many clients, although Janine will explain what to expect, what aftercare to follow and what symptoms should be checked. Final results are usually best assessed once the swelling has settled.

Lip Filler is not suitable for everyone, and treatment will only go ahead if Janine feels it is appropriate for you. You may be advised to delay treatment if you are unwell, pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active cold sore, have certain medical conditions or are taking medication that may affect suitability.

Please note that cosmetic filler treatments are only available to clients aged 18 and over.
