Your Fat Dissolving Treatment will begin with a consultation to discuss the area you would like to treat, your medical history, lifestyle, expectations and previous treatment history. Janine will assess whether the area is suitable and explain what can realistically be achieved.

The treatment involves carefully placing a fat-dissolving solution into the chosen area. This is designed to help break down localised fat cells, which are then naturally processed by the body over time. Results are not instant and can vary from person to person depending on the area treated, the amount of localised fat, your body’s response and how many sessions are recommended.

Common treatment areas may include the chin, chin and jawline, stomach, thighs, arms, bra fat and hips or love handles. Some smaller areas may need fewer sessions, while larger or more stubborn areas may require a course of treatments for best results.

After treatment, swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising or firmness in the treated area can occur. This is common with fat dissolving treatments and may last for several days. Janine will provide clear aftercare advice, including what to avoid after your appointment and when to get in touch if you have any concerns.

Fat Dissolving Treatments are not suitable for everyone. They are not a substitute for weight loss and will only go ahead if Janine feels the treatment is appropriate for you. You may be advised to delay treatment if you are unwell, pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active infection, have certain medical conditions or are taking medication that may affect suitability.
