Your Nasolabial Fold Filler appointment will begin with a consultation to discuss your concerns, previous filler history and the result you would like to achieve. Janine will assess the depth of the folds, your facial movement, skin quality and overall facial balance before recommending the most suitable approach.

The treatment involves carefully placing dermal filler in or around the nasolabial fold area to soften the appearance of the lines and provide gentle support. In some cases, Janine may also discuss whether mid-face volume loss is contributing to the folds, as treating the cheeks or surrounding areas may sometimes create a more balanced result than treating the fold alone.

Some swelling, tenderness or bruising can happen after treatment, and the area may feel slightly firm while it settles. Janine will provide clear aftercare advice, including what to avoid immediately after your appointment and when to get in touch if you have any concerns.

Nasolabial Fold Filler is not suitable for everyone, and treatment will only go ahead if Janine feels it is appropriate for you. You may be advised to delay treatment if you are unwell, pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active infection, have certain medical conditions or are taking medication that may affect suitability.
