Your Polynucleotide treatment will begin with a consultation to discuss your skin concerns, treatment history and the result you would like to achieve. Janine will assess your skin quality, hydration, texture and any areas of concern before recommending the most suitable treatment option.

The treatment involves placing small amounts of product into the skin using careful injection techniques. Unlike traditional filler, Polynucleotides are not used to create volume or contour. Instead, they are used to support the skin’s own repair processes and improve the appearance of skin quality over time.

Polynucleotides may be recommended for areas such as the face or under-eyes, depending on your individual needs. Under-eye Polynucleotide treatments, such as Lumi Eyes Pro or Ami Eyes, may be considered where the concern is tired-looking eyes, fine lines, crepey texture or poor skin quality in the delicate eye area.

Results are usually gradual rather than instant. A course of treatments may be recommended for best results, followed by maintenance treatments depending on your skin, goals and Janine’s advice.

After treatment, you may experience small bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising around the injection points. These effects are usually temporary. Janine will provide clear aftercare advice so you know how to care for the area while it settles.

Polynucleotide treatments are not suitable for everyone, and treatment will only go ahead if Janine feels it is appropriate. You may be advised to delay treatment if you are unwell, pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active infection, have certain medical conditions or are taking medication that may affect suitability.
