Your Sculptra® appointment will begin with a detailed consultation to discuss your concerns, treatment history and the result you would like to achieve. Janine will assess your facial structure, skin quality, areas of volume change and overall suitability before recommending whether Sculptra® is the right option for you.

The treatment involves placing Sculptra® into selected areas of the face using careful injection techniques. Rather than creating an immediate dramatic change, Sculptra® is designed to work gradually as it helps stimulate collagen production. This means results usually build over time, with the final outcome developing more slowly than traditional dermal filler.

A course of treatments may be recommended depending on your skin, age, facial structure and goals. Janine will advise how many sessions may be suitable, how far apart they should be spaced and whether Sculptra® should be used alone or as part of a wider rejuvenation plan.

After treatment, some swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising can occur around the injection points. Janine will provide clear aftercare advice, including any massage guidance if required, what to avoid after treatment and when to get in touch if you have any concerns.

Sculptra® is not suitable for everyone, and treatment will only go ahead if Janine feels it is appropriate for you. You may be advised to delay treatment if you are unwell, pregnant, breastfeeding, have an active infection, have certain medical conditions or are taking medication that may affect suitability.
